Ravensbourne, Darling Downs
Real people. All the feeling.
Toowoomba & the Darling Downs
From the gardens of Gabbinbar to the hills of Ravensbourne, these celebrations are full of country warmth and people who know how to make you feel at home. Explore the stories, find a setting that feels like you, and tell me what you’re planning.
Toowoomba’s rural landscapes, huge old trees and older homes and venues remind me of the places I grew up photographing in New South Wales. Working here often feels a little like coming home for the day.
Whether you live locally or you’re gathering your nearest and dearest for a weekend away, make room to enjoy it. Your photographs matter because the moments in them matter. I want you to remember how good it felt to be there.
My advice is simple: choose a photographer you could be friends with. We’ll spend much of your wedding day together, from getting ready to the dance floor. Let’s have a coffee or a video call and see whether we click.

Your people. Your place. Your story.
I’m a documentary wedding photographer. I want your photographs to take you back to how it felt to be there, surrounded by the people who matter most.
The quiet moments before the ceremony. The hugs that last a little longer. Your friends singing every word on the dance floor. That’s the story I’m looking for, wherever you choose to celebrate.
Tell me about your date, your venue and the day you’re imagining. We can talk about availability, photography packages and what matters most to you.

A few things you might be wondering
Tell me whether you’re planning a garden celebration in Toowoomba, a wedding around Ravensbourne or a day elsewhere in the Darling Downs. I take a limited number of commissions each year and want to hear your story and make sure we’re a good fit before the paperwork. Contact me with your plans so we can start that conversation.
My usual delivery timeframe is approximately four to six weeks after your wedding, and a little sooner for elopements. You’ll receive an online gallery available to people with the link, which you can share with family and friends and use to order prints. That is the same delivery approach for your celebration in Toowoomba.
Not at all. Whether we’re in a garden or out in the Darling Downs, the people and the feeling of the day matter more than knowing how to pose. I’ll help when you need a little guidance, so you can relax, have fun together and let the day happen.
Yes. I offer wedding films with the same emphasis on emotion and real moments as my photographs. They have a personal, home-movie feel rather than being built around elaborate shots. Tell me about your wedding in Toowoomba and we can discuss the film options and availability for your date.
I don’t charge travel for Toowoomba weddings. This directory also covers the wider Darling Downs, so send me your exact venue and any other stops on the day to confirm what applies. For celebrations further afield, I’ll include the agreed travel expenses in your quote.
Yes. The stories on this page include celebrations at Gabbinbar and The Woods Ravensbourne. Open a wedding story to see the photographs and the actual setting; each venue page brings together weddings photographed there. Explore the wedding stories.
