Brisbane
Real people. All the feeling.
Brisbane & nearby South East Queensland
A city celebration can be every bit as personal as a country escape. From an intimate hotel elopement to a room full of friends at The Refinery, these stories are about making the day your own.
Brisbane gave me a whole new set of venues to explore, along with plenty of backyard weddings. I’m now based in Palm Beach, and I still love coming back to photograph the people and celebrations here.
Choosing a photographer is about more than finding pictures you like. It is choosing someone who will be beside you, talking with your family and friends, for much of the day. Find the person whose company you’ll enjoy.
My photographs are for you and the people you love. I want them to bring you back to your own memories, long after the social media platforms have changed.
How I photograph a wedding
Your people. Your place. Your story.
I’m a documentary wedding photographer. I want your photographs to take you back to how it felt to be there, surrounded by the people who matter most.
The quiet moments before the ceremony. The hugs that last a little longer. Your friends singing every word on the dance floor. That’s the story I’m looking for, wherever you choose to celebrate.
Tell me about your date, your venue and the day you’re imagining. We can talk about availability, photography packages and what matters most to you.

A few things you might be wondering
Send me your date, your Brisbane venue and whether the ceremony, portraits and reception will be in the same place or at different locations. I take a limited number of commissions each year and want to hear your story and make sure we’re a good fit before the paperwork. Contact me with your plans so we can start that conversation.
My usual delivery timeframe is approximately four to six weeks after your wedding, and a little sooner for elopements. You’ll receive an online gallery available to people with the link, which you can share with family and friends and use to order prints. That is the same delivery approach for your celebration in Brisbane.
Not at all. An intimate hotel ceremony or a busy city reception doesn’t need to turn into a day of posing. I’m there to notice the connections between you and your people. I’ll help when you need a little guidance, so you can relax, have fun together and let the day happen.
Yes. I offer wedding films with the same emphasis on emotion and real moments as my photographs. They have a personal, home-movie feel rather than being built around elaborate shots. Tell me about your wedding in Brisbane and we can discuss the film options and availability for your date.
I don’t charge travel for Brisbane weddings, which also includes locations within a two-hour drive of home. This directory extends into nearby South East Queensland, so let me know the exact venue and any other locations you have planned. I’ll confirm any additional travel as part of the quote.
The stories on this page include celebrations at The Calile Hotel and The Refinery. Follow a story for the full wedding or open a venue page to see the celebrations photographed in that setting. Explore the wedding stories.
