I find a lot of couples getting married in the Byron Bay region are coming up from Sydney or Melbourne for a nice relaxed weekend away with their favourite people to celebrate their wedding day. Planning a wedding from distance can pose its challenges and make it tempting to opt for package deals to make your photographer hunt simple. I think choosing your Byron bay wedding photographer is probably one of the biggest decisions in your wedding planning journey.

My approach to capturing your day is to document the magic that is already there rather than force anything or copy any poses you’ve been seeing on TikTok. I’m fascinated with what’s real. The beauty and the chaos. Weddings present millions of tiny little moments of connection, honesty, bravery, emotion and so much more. I don’t think ANYTHING needs to be staged or to make you feel like you’re performing for a set of “photo-ops”. There’s enough already there.

They will absolutely offer you some fantastic options. But never be afraid of going outside of your venue or planners recommended list if you’ve found someone that really feels like the right fit for you.
