Shannon and Matt’s wedding at Silos Estate was full of laughter. I cannot remember many speeches that made me laugh quite as much, and their friends brought wonderful energy to the party.

A short power cut at the start of dinner changed the atmosphere. Staff used phone torches to serve meals, and guests balanced lights on wine glasses so they could see. Just as a generator was found, the power returned and the evening carried on.
