Southern Highlands

I spent a long time looking for words to accompany these photographs. Beth and Simon’s wedding moved me in a way that was difficult to describe.

What stayed with me was the generosity of their love: the care they showed each other and the sense that both were thinking first about the other person. Witnessing that at such close range was a privilege.

Neither words nor photographs can contain all of a day like this. I hope these images carry something of what it felt like to be there.
